Kabul Diary
The army runs an information line which the folks at home can dial to
hear the latest news from the units in Afghanistan.  On most days, it has
been Iain's voice we have heard giving us the ISTAR message. Today, his
message is as follows:
Good day, this is Captain Iain Clark of ISTAR Company in Kabul, leaving a message on the
3rd of February 2004.

As you may know we are currently conducting our rotation with the incoming members from
le 12e Régiment Blindé du Canada from Valcartier.

Some of our members have come home already and the rest of us should be home very soon.

We have had a very interesting and rewarding tour and we very much appreciated all the
support we got from home. We look forward to being with you soon and we wish our
comrades who have relieved us here the best of luck in their mission.

Thank you. God bless. Goodbye.
